Anyhow, we succeeded to reach our rafting starting point. We were joined by a dutch couple.
So, on board of this raft, we got the following people :
two english girls, one south african guy, the dutch couple, and from Nepal : our guide Tongka, and the raft captain... (and of course, your french webmaster)..
(The snap above is from the raft team which was following us. If you imagine a yellow raft and red life jackets, it could have been us..)
I don't know if you experienced already rafting, but the only thing I can say is that it is really thrilling, especially when you are going to reach the first rapid.
Few minutes later, you will know it is better to close your mouth during rapid crossings, if you don't want to drink too much himalayan water !!
Between rapids, our guide explained us the very encouraging name of each rapid we were going to cross (like "the flipper" or the killing mountains or things like that).
Anyhow, 3 hours later, you will envy very much the waterproof suit of the raft captain as you become somewhat chilly, even if we had sunny weather…
If you have some Nepal travel books, you may read that the Trisuli is not the most exciting place for rafting in Nepal. But if you have only one or two days to spent, it surely the most convenient and the best for a first rafting experience ! You don't need level IV or V rapids to get some fun...
